Nest Learning Thermostat

The Nest Learning Thermostat is a Wi-Fi-connected thermostat with an LCD display. Its team included many former Apple engineers, and its design benefited from components made inexpensive by the smartphone market.

I wrote the initial server software for remote control, log collection, and OTA updates. I then managed the internet services team that replaced that software. Later, I managed the technical operations team that kept the services running in the cloud.
